This book offers practical and faithful guidance for interpreting the Old Testament in harmony with the intentions of the biblical authors. Through clear “red flag” warnings against unfaithful interpretation and “green flag” principles for sound interpretation, readers are equipped to approach Scripture with greater wisdom and discernment. Covering both general interpretive principles and genre-specific guidance for the Pentateuch, narratives, wisdom literature, prophecy, and apocalyptic texts, this book encourages readers not only to understand Scripture correctly, but also to live transformed and godly lives through it.
