This volume brings together eight of Spurgeon’s finest sermons centered on the promises of God. Spurgeon emphasizes that God has pledged His grace to His children, and that the sure and ultimate confirmation of these promises is found in His Son, Jesus Christ. He urges readers to pursue the fulfillment of God’s promises—not through signs or extraordinary experiences, but through a steadfast faith that trusts in Christ alone and meditates on God’s Word and the ways He fulfills His promises. As believers learn to rely fully on Christ, they are encouraged to find hope and peace even in the midst of trials and anxieties. This book helps readers reaffirm and trust in God’s promises, strengthen their faith, overcome the world, and shine the light of the gospel in their lives.
