English - Storyteller's Bible Study

My mentor in Oregon who has used this study for over 30 years have helped MANY Chinese, Koreans and internationals to get to know God personally through this chronological lesson. When my mentor has used this study for Korean ladies, there was a 90% conversion rate. I have studied this when I was in Oregon form 2001-2003. After my university graduate, I have come back to Japan and used it to a Chinese brother who had very few knowledge about God and the bible. I was able to baptize a Chinese brother whose parents are working for the government. It was VERY VERY effective and I am going to share this teacher's notes to my pastors and missionaries in Japan. My mentor and I also use Chinese characters along with this study and the new tribe mission's chronological pictograms as assisting tools to build a firm foundation and to lead them to Christ.

In the late 90's I was asked by a Chinese pastor if I would help 18 students coming over from Mainland China with their English at my home. I was not given any material so ordered Storytellers's Bible Study for Internationals. This Chinese pastor who had come to our apartment to speak with my husband who had cancer, also took my husband to China Town in Toronto to get Chinese herbs to help combat his cancer. This pastor had recently recovered from cancer himself and used these herbs. The Story Tellers' Bible Study was perfect for the group of Chinese people, mostly from Bejing area. Two worked in the Chinese government, but had become Christians, some were communist, some Buddhist, I taught them for 5 years then, because of my husbands advanced frontal lobe dementia, God had brought a missionary couple to the English version of the Chinese church so I asked him if he would be able to take over the group for me. He was going to Heritage Christian College at the time, studying to be a pastor. God brought him at just the right time. Several of those students became elders in the Chinese Church about 6-7 years later. This Story Tellers' Bible Study For Internationals is a perfect way to begin and there are others to follow up with. I also have 'Crossing Over With Parables' Bible Study. I highly recommend them for international students of any age or country. Those who have no English can help with interpretation. I am 77 years old now and would still love to do another group and will be ordering more resources and pray God will bring me some students. Actually, today it is easy to interpret with electronics, even on your cell phone.
